Global Survey Results (Frank)

  • We are an interconnected international coalition.
  • We are very keen to look at trajectory and health in team implementation of MTM strategy.
  • Trajectory
    • In 2020 we have 73 known teams that are implementing MTM and the number rose to 260 in 2023. We are more than doubling every year.
    • MTM teams are rapidly becoming non-Expatriate. The nationals are growing as opposite to Expatriate. There are also emerging teams that are near culture.
    • In the current year, the fastest growth is with non-English speakers.
    • In 2023 there is a significant jump to impact and outcomes to ministry. There are not only increase in online engagements but 400% increase in face-to-face engagements and profession of faith. There are also 100% increase in baptisms and fellowships.
  • Health
    • Health – POP’s
      • There are four definitions of POP’s that have emerged during the survey.
    • Health – Accountability
      • One of the indicators when it comes to the health of an organization is how much funds are being spent.
    • Health – Prayer

  • Case Study:Asia
    • We started with a small team, focused on the urban setting, and came to the field with no connections.
    • We started our first ad campaign in February 2022 and since then we had a lot of engagements, few F2F engagements, few F2F gospel shares, one DBS and one new Believer.
    • Challenges and Takeaways
      • Only about 15% of messages com from the city – seeker handoff to provinces
      • Want to partner with province disciple makers to target new areas.
      • Want to start a page that will help us find Believers interested in learning how to share the Gospel, make Disciples, or join a missional community.

  • Case Study: West Africa
    • Launched in mid-2022, we are now a five-member team and looking to add another digital filterer.
    • Progress to Date
      • 326 people have messaged us.
      • 20 face-to-face meetings.
      • 4 have professed faith.
      • 1 have been baptized.
    • Key Takeaways
      • Audio/video content in the heart language was a game changer.
      • Whatsapp vocal messaging is necessary in our context.
      • Building the right team is critical and takes time.
      • Digital filtering is the hardest position to train/coach.
