Discussion

  • I have never seen anything move and develop as fast as AI. Within our MTM team, AI has delivered exceptional time savings of approximately 50% compared to previous years, allowing us to allocate more resources to content creation.
  • This technology has also significantly enhanced our ability to process and dissect vast volumes of data, resulting in the production of higher-quality content.
  • A notable point of consideration arises when AI generates content independently, leading to the emergence of what can be termed as "hallucinations." This presents a potential concern, as individuals might place undue trust in AI-generated outcomes. There is a risk of accepting AI's responses at face value without appropriate scrutiny, which could have implications for decision-making.

Q: Would mid journey gives the same picture of the exact same prompt is given by same user ?
A: Yes, it is gonna be a different picture every time you use it. While Midjourney is designed to generate distinct outputs for the same prompt, recent advancements now allow for the generation of multiple images using the same facial input, fostering a sense of consistency in facial expressions and appearance.

Q: Is permission required if you clone somebody else's voice?
A: Ethically, you must obtain explicit permission before cloning an individual's voice using AI technology.

Q:  How accurate is ChatGPT in translation?
A: I have found ChatGPT to be highly effective in translation across four languages. Although a final proofreading step remains essential, the initial results have been impressive.

Q: Is there country by country efforts to kind of put boundaries on where AI goes? How is it currently being managed?
A:  The genie is out of the bottle. The widespread adoption of AI signifies that it is no longer a question of containment but rather effective management. My personal view is that all technologies possess the potential for both positive and negative applications. As Christians, we need to redeem the technology for the Kingdom of God.

Q: In using AI-generated images or footages, would we run the risk of misrepresenting a people group, a country or community?
A: Video is less developed among the other AIs in the market. While AI has made significant strides, video generation remains relatively underdeveloped among existing AI solutions. In our work, we frequently integrate b-roll footage that accurately reflects the essence of a given country, environment, or cultural group. Prior to release, we engage a test group to ensure the content authentically represents the intended subject. When the objective is to convey a conceptual representation rather than reality, AI-generated images are employed, provided that ethical considerations are met.
